The Collectors Net USA online e-store inventory is updated daily. The homepage is updated
monthly as a generally practice.
Why may my email not have been answered?
Due to the large volume of emails we receive daily, we are unable to answer emails of a general nature or emails for which answers have been provided in the FAQs. If you have a specific question which has not been answered by the FAQs provided and you have not received an email response to your inquiry, please check the email address to which you sent the email to verify its correctness. If the matter is urgent, please call 817.226.0444 during normal business hours so that we can assist you immediately.
How do I know the size of an item?
The size of an item is usually expressed in scale in the item description. For instance, 1:64 scale is 3 inches in length, 1:25 scale is about 8 inches, and 1:18 scale is about 11 inches. In some cases, the size of an item may be expressed in specific measurements rather than scale. Be sure to click on the item thumbnail picture or description text line to get a full picture of the item and a more in-depth description.
Do you offer quantity discounts or other type of discounts?
Collectors Net USA offers bulk purchasing discounts only through its established wholesale program.
Does Collectors Net USA offer wholesale pricing?
We make available at wholesale pricing products that we purchase in bulk elsewhere and that which we manufacture or commission ourselves. However, we reserve the right to limit without notice our available wholesale listing in order to consistently support the base of wholesale accounts that we regularly service. If you are a registered business owner and are interested in purchasing in bulk at wholesale pricing, please fax us a copy of your retail sales certificate and a return fax number. Our fax number is

Based upon our wholesale department's review/approval of the information you submitted, we will send to you a wholesale packet which gives information about minimums, payment options, and pricing. (817) 226-0444 . Upon receipt of your retail sales certificate we can discuss minimums and payment options over the phone but we are unable to send out a wholesale packet until we have on file a legible and fully-completed account information form review/approved by our wholesale department.
Can you tell me the aftermarket value of an item?
We are unable to provide the aftermarket value of any item we sell. You can obtain publicized aftermarket values from a variety of industry-related magazines or price guides. Some of these publications are available in the
Collectors Net USA online store and others are available at your local bookstore.

Yes, we consider barter and trades only in person and on a case by case basis.

How is Collectors Net USA affiliated with the manufacturers whose brands it
carries?
Collectors Net USA is a privately owned and independent retailer and distributor of products to the hobby industry. Our affiliations with the the manufacturers whose brands are advertised on our web site are mostly limited to the direct wholesale bulk purchase of their respective products for distribution and resale purposes only. In the few cases, when we specifically manufacture or commission to have manufactured certain items, our affiliation is much broader in scope.
Why does Collectors Net USA sell both wholesale and retail?
In the opening years of business, Collectors Net USA sold only retail products that we purchased from wholesale distributors. Over time, we built a large retail customer base and, as such, are committed to maintaining that base that we worked so hard to create. We later became a distributor to take advantage of bulk sale pricing and to provide wholesale customers a level of excellent customer service generally not available to them from distributors currently in the marketplace. In addition, we provide a state-of-the-art and up-to-date web site and an electronic product update service for our retail customers of which our wholesaler customers can take advantage. Therefore, if we limit our sales to wholesale only, we could not afford to continue to provide these services because the margin of profit at the wholesale level is very low. In effect, we have achieved a balance selling both retail and wholesale which permits us to offer a greater variety of products that we would not otherwise be able to do.
Why are some of your prices different than those in the major chain retail stores?
Collectors Net USA offers and inventories a wider variety of product than most chain retail stores do at any given period. Therefore, we must account for the cost of inventorying some products over lengthy periods of time. In addition, we generally pay higher prices for the same product that the chain stores carry because we do not buy any one product in the volume that the chain stores do. Lastly, we carefully inspect all items prior to shipment and cull out those that we believe are not acceptable. As a result, we are sometimes left with inventory that does not move as readily.
Does Collectors Net USA have a printed catalog available?
Currently, we do not offer a pre-printed catalog for retail customers. However, we do place in packages informational flyers and order forms. If your are interested in receiving our current inventory of flyers and some order forms outside of the ordering process, feel free to mail a request along with a self-addressed pre-stamped envelope. Why did I not receive an item that I ordered?
There are a variety of reasons why you may not have received an item that you ordered through our online store. Most typically the reasons are that: 1) that item was out of stock at the time your order was processed, and 2) at the time your order was pulled the shipping supervisor deemed that the condition of an item made it unacceptable for shipment. We endeavor everyday to keep our web site updated and accurate, but we are unable to guarantee that it is 100% error free all of the time. We also on rare occasions may limit the quantities of specific high-demand items to ensure that we provide ample opportunities for greater variety of customers to acquire them.
